Position: SEO Manager(s)

An experienced SEO strategist/manager is needed for a young and rapidly growing online reputation management firm in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will combine existing SEO knowledge and experience with a desire to remain on the cutting edge of this constantly changing field. Our firm deals with a wide variety of clients, and our central goal is to build and promote positive web properties designed for success with search engines. We use a combination of existing well-known SEO tactics to do so, but have also emerged as a thought leader in online reputation management – the ability to be creative in approaching and solving problems is critical.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the quality of a client’s Web site content and prioritize SEO efforts
  • Develop content strategy documentation
  • Provide guidance for a team of copywriters and SEO staffers
  • Interact with project team to understand business objectives and user goals
  • Collaborate on site navigation, content organization, and metadata
  • Repurpose, edit and help create site content
  • Research SEO best practices
  • Maintain high standards of content creation and exercise quality control on all copy

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in English, business, marketing, communications or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience as an SEO specialist or manager in an professional environment
  • Experience in utilizing social media
  • Self-motivated with a keen enthusiasm for, and understanding of, the Web industry and technologies
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects, with diverse audiences and concisely communicate complex or demanding subject matter
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented, with the organizational skills to communicate to a team of staff-members and provide regular status reports to upper management
  • Experience running paid search campaigns (PPC) through Google AdWords a plus.

Position: Client Account Executive(s)

An enthusiastic client account executive is needed to join a young, rapidly growing online reputation management (ORM) firm based in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen understanding of how important the Internet is in shaping PR and messaging efforts, and be eager to dive into the details of a constantly evolving new field. A typical client account executive at our firm handles anywhere from 5-10 clients at a time, meaning the ability to remain organized and productive is critical. Specific experience with ORM is not necessary; however, we are looking for a new team member with exceptional writing and communication skills, and the ability to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of client ORM programs, including assessing initial status, developing short-term and long-term plans, and overseeing specific projects from start to completion
  • Communicate regularly with the client to manage expectations and set priorities
  • Produce weekly reports summarizing work done on behalf of clients
  • Act as a conduit between clients and internal IT/SEO team
  • Collaborate on website design and organization to ensure clients’ needs are met
